Individual Therapy

One-on-one “psychotherapy” or “counseling” is a process wherein clients work personally with a trained therapist in a confidential environment. They work to better understand themselves, explore their feelings and beliefs, and gain answers to questions. Individual therapy is typically offered one hour per week or biweekly, but may also be provided over several hours as intensive individual therapy sessions for clients who have limited time on island.

Couples Therapy

Therapy that is designed to assist couples in addressing their relationship challenges. It focuses on the couple rather than the individual. The objectives of couples therapy are to assist the couple in identifying problem areas and learning critical skills essential to developing or restoring healthy relationships. Couples therapy may be arranged over an intensive weekend for those who have limited time on island.

Play Therapy

Play therapy is a technique of psychotherapy used with children to assist in communicating with and understanding the child; foundationally, it assists the child in communicating their unspoken thoughts, feelings, experiences, and desires.

Group Therapy

“Group” is a form of psychotherapy in which 6-to-8 people are treated simultaneously. Group therapy aims to help clients better understand themselves through engagement with others. Be it individual answers or shared beliefs, the therapist helps the group to raise their awareness, obtain skills, and reach their therapeutic goals.

Psychological Evaluation

Psychological assessment is a testing process that employs a series of evaluation techniques that assist the psychologist and client in better understanding their diagnosis and in developing a targeted treatment plan.
